Qualifications:

BacheloraEUR(TM)s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. NEBOSH International Diploma (IDip NEBOSH) (Level-6). Experience:

Minimum 10-15 years of experience in HSE roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial position. Preferred experience in the Oil & Gas industry related HSE management. Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for overseeing all company HSE-related matters, including communication and coordination with clients, contractors, authorities, and other stakeholders. Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations and ISO 45001 & 14001. Stay up to date with Sharjah-specific HSE legal requirements and implement necessary policies. Develop and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with industry standards. Conduct Hazard Identification to assess workplace hazards. Prepare and implement risk management programs and maintain a robust Permit-to-Work (PTW) system. Analyse all safety data, including incident rates, near-misses, and safety observations, to identify trends and recommend corrective actions. Develop and maintain an HSE performance monitoring system (KPI etc..) to track improvements and ensure continuous safety enhancements. Oversee environmental management, including waste disposal, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives. Ensure compliance with environmental protection regulations and monitor air, water, and soil quality. Lead and motivate teams to foster a strong safety culture within the organization. Conduct HSE training programs, including third-party certifications. Engage with regulatory agencies, contractors, and stakeholders on HSE matters. Investigate workplace incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Develop and oversee emergency response plans, including periodic drills and simulations. Prepare and communicate safety policies, procedures, and expectations across all levels of the organization. Prepare detailed HSE reports, safety bulletins, and compliance documentation for senior management. Take a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks before they escalate. Conduct thorough safety inspections, audits, and compliance checks to ensure adherence to workplace safety standards. Assess the effectiveness of HSE programs through case studies and scenario-based problem-solving. Evaluate and improve risk assessment methodologies and recommend policy enhancements. Adapt to industry-specific safety challenges and drive employee engagement in HSE programs. Implement strategies to reduce incidents and maintain high safety standards. Seniority level
