Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and ensure compliance with project HSE plans, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements throughout sewerage infrastructure works. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, unsafe practices, and ensure corrective actions are taken. Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, tool box talks, and safety awareness programs on-site. Investigate incidents, near-misses, and non-conformities, and assist in the preparation of reports and root cause analysis. Maintain and update HSE records, permits, risk assessments, and safety documentation. Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and local authorities to ensure adherence to HSE standards. Participate in emergency response drills and ensure readiness of safety equipment and systems.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field. NEBOSH IGC certification is

mandatory

. HSE certifications such as OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent are a plus. Familiarity with UAE HSE regulations and sewerage/infrastructure project safety requirements.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum

3-6 years

of experience in an HSE role within

EPC or infrastructure projects

, preferably with

exposure to sewerage or utility pipeline works

. Strong knowledge of HSE management systems, risk assessments, and incident reporting procedures. Experience working with subcontractors and enforcing site-level compliance. Proficiency in report writing, inspections, and use of HSE tools/software.
