We are hiring a proactive and qualified HSE Engineer to lead the implementation, monitoring, and enforcement of Health, Safety & Environmental standards across our construction projects. This role is critical to ensuring full compliance with local authority regulations, contractual obligations, and corporate HSE policies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in civil engineering, along with NEBOSH certification and a proven record of maintaining a safe, compliant, and risk-mitigated project environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and control HSE compliance across all project sites in accordance with local authority regulations, contractual requirements, and the approved HSE Plan.
Review and approve HSE Plans, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and ensure their effective implementation on site.
Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Site Observation Notices, and follow up on timely closure with responsible parties.
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, and authorities to ensure the successful implementation of HSE standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
NEBOSH International General Certificate (Mandatory)
Minimum 5-10 years of HSE experience in the construction or infrastructure industry
Strong knowledge of local HSE laws, industry best practices, and regulatory compliance standards
Ability to lead inspections, investigations, and audits independently
