Job Description
The HSE Engineer is responsible for implementing health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure compliance with UAE regulations and site safety standards. The role requires hands-on safety supervision on construction sites, risk assessments, and coordination with authorities, including Trakhees.
Key Responsibilities:
Enforce HSE policies and procedures in compliance with local laws and project requirements. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments. Identify hazards, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions. Prepare and submit safety reports, method statements, and risk assessments. Provide safety training and toolbox talks to site personnel. Ensure compliance with Trakhees regulations and attend relevant inspections. Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure alignment with the project's HSE plan. Maintain documentation of permits, certifications, and safety records.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field).
NEBOSH IGC Certification
(mandatory).Trakhees HSE approval card
(required). Minimum3-5 years of UAE experience
in construction HSE roles. Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws, local authority requirements (DM, Trakhees, etc.), and international safety standards. Excellent communication, reporting, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently under pressure and manage safety on fast-paced construction sites.Job Type: Full-time
