Job Summary

:

The HSE Engineer is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of safety and environmental management systems across project sites or facilities. This role involves conducting risk assessments, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

:Safety & Health:

Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and job safety analysis (JSA). Monitor workplace activities to ensure workers comply with company policies and government safety regulations. Implement site-specific HSE plans and procedures. Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions. Ensure availability and correct use of PPE and safety equipment.
Environment:

Monitor environmental performance (air emissions, waste, water discharge). Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and permits. Support initiatives for energy saving, waste reduction, and pollution prevention.
Documentation & Reporting:

Prepare HSE reports, statistics, and presentations for management and regulatory bodies. Maintain records of safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and training. Support HSE audits (internal/external) and assist in implementing corrective actions.
Training & Awareness:

Conduct HSE inductions and toolbox talks. Develop and deliver safety training and awareness campaigns. Promote a safety culture through regular engagement with employees and contractors.
