Job Description
:
We are seeking a competent HSE Engineer to ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are implemented and followed on high-rise construction projects. The role involves enforcing safety policies and ensuring all workers comply with UAE safety laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement site-specific HSE plans and ensure compliance.
Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
Report and investigate incidents and near-misses.
Develop and deliver toolbox talks and safety training.
Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment.
Liaise with government authorities (Dubai Municipality, DCD, etc.) as required.
Maintain documentation incident reports, safety logs, and inspection records.
Ensure fire safety, scaffolding, and excavation practices follow legal norms.
Monitor and control site safety signage, barricades, and emergency exits.
Promote a positive safety culture among staff and labor force.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety.
NEBOSH/IOSH certified (mandatory).
5+ years of HSE experience on high-rise building projects in the UAE.
Deep understanding of UAE HSE regulations.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Valid UAE Driving License required
