Job Description

1. Role Objective

:

To ensure implementation of AQC latest Operations Procedures Manual (OPM) under general administrative direction, to provide overall management, operational support and leadership and develop effective and efficient programs and best practices that ensure a safe environment and improve the safety and health of employees at all AQC Sites. Responsible for all Environmental Health and Safety, Disaster and Emergency

awareness programs in compliance with applicable local requirements.

2. Detailed Roles & Responsibilities:

STRATEGIC

1) Identifies AQC wide needs to maintain compliance with local and international HSE regulations.

2) Contributes and develops HSE continuous improvement goals.

3) Ensures the continuous development of the safety training programs.

4) Participates in developing hazard control methodologies, HSE procedures and programs, implementation and Team Member Training.

5) Serves as a primary contact and reference for all corporate and regulatory agency requests and inquiries.

6) Sets master target for the strategic development of the business unit in relation to safety requirement.

OPERATIONAL

1) Reviews and oversees execution of AQC HSE policies and procedures.

2) Conducts incident investigations and takes action to prevent reoccurrences.

3) Monitors reporting, audits processes and tracks necessary data.

4) Provides technical support on problematic and hazardous conditions.

5) Ensures systems are in place for an effective HSE project execution while maintaining compliance with regulatory/corporate guidelines.

6) Monitors and assures proper update of applicable records, reports, safety statistics and trend analysis.

7) Develops an effective communication process to make safety priorities and performance visible.

8) Supports Estimation/Cost Control functions to conclude HSE Budget for projects.

9) Complies with the Internal Audit requirements in the project.

10) Assists in providing the required documentation for the external certification audits of the business unit.

11) Provides technical Support to HSE and Project team.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

1) Guides HSE employees with Safety Assessments.

2) Responsible for the evaluation, training and development of all personnel in HSE department.

3) Ensures that department staff career development plan is in line with the company needs and standards.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management.
