Job Description
The Senior HSE Engineer will report to Project HSE Manager to support for any HSE related issues.
Responsibilities of project Senior HSE engineer:
Responsible for preparing statistics on Marine CONTRACTOR HSE performance to present to Project Management and HSE Manager.
Prepare monthly HSE performance report
Responsible for conducting the analysis of HSE observations and incidents to identify immediate and basic causes and recommending corrective actions to close the gaps to prevent recurrences.
Responsible for preparing HSE training plan for all SUBCONTRACTOR employees.
Lead and Review Formal Risk Assessment
Review and monitor HSE action tracking register
Nominate incident investigation team
Review outcome of incidents and HSE observations, investigations and setting of corrective actions.
Review sub-contractor's HSE Management Plan and enforce compliance
Accountable for the implementation of Project HSE Management Plan
Communicate emergency with project management team, if any.
Leads the investigation process for incidents.
Ensures the availability and readiness of emergency equipment.
Reviews emergency preparedness plans for their effectiveness and recommends corrective actions.
Assists in managing the evacuation of personnel if needed.
