About the Job (Immediate available candidates only)
We are looking for an experienced NEBOSH qualified HSE engineer with proven track record of managing large scale of construction projects, required to develop, implement and oversee all aspects of Health, Safety, and Environmental programs across all Green stone landscaping projects.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation of company HSE values and procedure in the industrial projects Independently monitor and observe ongoing project operations on a daily basis with a focus on conformance to policies and procedures and generally accepted safe working practices.
Monitor & enforce HSE compliance with legal & regulatory requirements.
Promote health and safety within the organization and develop safer and healthier ways of working. Implementation of programs to remove the hazards from the work place and to correct unsafe work practices.
Coordinate with Project safety team to know status of safety measures taken in their respective area and support them to promoting positive health and safety culture.
Conduct and participated in safety audits/Inspection with the HSE Manager and conducted monthly/weekly safety meetings with project managers and site engineers/staff to review safety performance and identify areas for improvement.
Conduct and coordinate on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices.
Perform construction site and/or area safety inspections of department facilities and operations.
Safety studies/activities, such as: HAZOPs, PHSER, HAZID, ENVID, OHID, JSAs, FRA, SIMOPs, Implementing Safety Observation Reporting system on Site; Record and report HSE violations and follow up implementation give feedback on areas/ activities that need more HSE attention and improvement as per company EHS Standard.
Ensure weekly tracking reports are properly filled and give information to subcontractors for them to take proper actions; Monitoring the closeout of all finding on site & camp issue.
Conduct training to employees, visitors, on HSE policies and procedures, including emergency procedures, first aid, and accident prevention.
Prepare and take approval for risk assessment and job safety analysis; Play a role as safe work permit coordinator between planning and execution teams.
Audit of Permits before start of any job on site; Conduct the risk assessment and hazards analysis on critical jobs prior to start; Enforce SWP/ Safe work practices on all task and provide recommendation if needed.
Participate weekly safety walk down in presence of Client, Contractors and project leads.

Pay: AED7,500.00 - AED8,500.00 per month
