Implement and monitor compliance with ADNOC HSE standards, project-specific HSE plans, and UAE federal safety regulations.
Conduct routine site inspections and audits to ensure HSE compliance during construction and commissioning activities.
Prepare and maintain Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and Job Safety Analysis (JSA/JHA).
Ensure issuance and compliance with PTW (Permit to Work) system in coordination with the ADNOC site team.
Supervise toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness programs for all site personnel and subcontractors.
Incident Management & Reporting:
Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective/preventive measures.
Maintain HSE documentation including incident logs, inspection checklists, and audit findings.
Liaise with ADNOC HSE representatives for compliance reviews and incident follow-ups.
Training & Communication:
Conduct daily toolbox talks, HSE meetings, and training sessions to promote awareness and reinforce safe work practices.
Ensure all site personnel are trained and certified as per ADNOC and project requirements (e.g., H2S, Work at Height, Confined Space).
Coordinate with Project and Construction Managers to ensure HSE is integrated into work planning and execution.
Emergency Preparedness:
Ensure that emergency response plans are in place, communicated, and tested regularly (fire drills, spill response, etc.).
Monitor availability and maintenance of firefighting and first-aid equipment across the site.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Environmental Science (preferably Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial).
NEBOSH IGC (mandatory); additional certifications like IOSH, OSHA, First Aid, Fire Fighting, H2S are preferred.
Minimum 3-7 years of relevant experience in HSE within the Oil & Gas construction sector, including ADNOC projects.
Familiar with ADNOC Onshore HSE standards and ASAB site working conditions.
CICPA pass and ADNOC HSE approval (or eligible for approval) is an added advantage.
