Develop project-specific HSE plans, method statements, risk assessments, and emergency response plans in line with ADNOC Codes of Practice (CoP).
Ensure all project activities (construction, commissioning, shutdowns, tie-ins) are conducted according to approved HSE procedures.
Lead toolbox talks and job safety analysis (JSA) sessions for high-risk activities. ?Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with ADNOC and UAE HSE standards. Conduct routine site inspections and audits of work areas, equipment, scaffolding, lifting operations, confined space work, hot work, and excavations.
Ensure proper PTW (Permit to Work) system is implemented and followed.
Prepare project-specific HSE plans, risk assessments, method statements. ?Conduct task-specific safety training (H2S, working at heights, LOTO).
Report, investigate, and record all incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions. Participate in root cause analysis and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports for ADNOC and management review. Maintain records of inspections, incidents, audits, and training.
Ensure that Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are available and communicated for all hazardous substances.
Coordinate with ADNOC HSE representatives, consultants, and contractors for inspections, audits, and compliance checks.
Liaise with Operation engineers, supervisors, and sub-contractors to resolve HSE issues. Conduct regular emergency drills (fire, gas release, spill response) as per ADNOC requirements.
Act as the site focal point for ADNOC HSE audits and visits.
Ensure waste management, pollution control, and environmental protection measures are in place as per ADNOC Mid/Downstream standards.
Monitor compliance with ADNOC environmental, sustainability, and occupational health targets.
Educational Qualification:
?
Bachelor's degree in engineering / environmental science / occupational health & safety. NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification is mandatory.
ADNOC / Oil & Gas industry experience, ideally with Midstream/Downstream projects (minimum 3 years).
Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws, ADNOC CoP, and international standards (OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001).
ADNOC HSE Induction and related certifications are an advantage
