Job Summary

Ensure Implementation of HSE policy, plan and procedures.

Ensure compliance with all current legislation, codes of practice and relevant standards.

Conduct site safety Inductions, toolbox meetings and in-house trainings.

Assess risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operations.

Maintain safe working conditions by conducting periodic inspections of the equipments, tools, fire extinguishers and the work site and correcting any deficiencies.

Monitor site welfare facilities, housekeeping activities and manual handling activities.

Prepare HSE reports, maintain proper records and perform root cause analysis for incident/accident

Ensure all accidents and personal injuries are reported and documented to the management.

Promote and reinforce safe behaviours across projects and job sites.

Handle site waste management and manage the provision of site first aid.

Any other tasks as per the company & job requirement.

Qualification:

12+ years total HSE experience

3-5 years as HSE Engineer or in similar roles

NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's/NVQ Level 4/5)

ADOSH-SF Practitioner - Grade A or B Registration

ISO 45001 Lead Auditor

Civil site experience within UAE; Aldar or PMC exposure is an advantage

Strong documentation, safety audit, and site coordination skills

Expert in MS office

In depth knowledge of UAE health & safety regulations
