Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive
HSE Officer / HSE Engineer
with aminimum of 5 years of experience
, preferably with acivil engineering background
, and hands-on expertise ininfrastructure projects
such as roads, bridges, utilities, and construction works. The ideal candidate will support site operations by ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting inspections, and promoting a strong safety culture across all project activities.Responsibilities
Implement and enforce HSE policies and procedures on-site. Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and hazard identification. Provide HSE training, inductions, and toolbox talks. Investigate incidents, near-misses, and recommend corrective actions. Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and compliance records. Coordinate with project teams and subcontractors on safety practices. Support HSE audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
Qualifications & Skills
Civil Engineering degree with 5+ years in infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and risk management. NEBOSH IGC mandatory; OSHA/IOSH preferred. Excellent communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
