Minimum 5 years in HSE roles within the fit-out or construction industry
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced HSE professional to oversee and implement health, safety, and environmental policies across our fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with local regulations, promote a culture of safety, and proactively manage risks on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures tailored to fit-out project environments.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
Lead incident investigations and prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis and preventive measures.
Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks to site personnel and subcontractors.
Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics and KPIs.
Liaise with project managers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure safety standards are upheld.
Maintain documentation and records related to HSE compliance, permits, and certifications.
Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement in HSE practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in the fit-out or construction industry.
Certification in NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, or equivalent is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of local HSE laws and international standards.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred:
Familiarity with safety management software and reporting tools.
Multilingual skills are a plus.
