Job description

• Monitor the implementation of health, safety and environmental arrangements at the project site level, following OSHAD and ALDAR requirements.
• Keep up to date with the latest legal and health and safety standards.
• Communicate and advise the Contractors on the implementation of a safe system of work.
• Lead HSE Meetings, Campaigns, Surveillances, Training, etc.
• Carryout internal audit on WME and Contractor\'s HSE management system
• Review the Contractor\'s health, safety and environmental plans, procedures, risk assessments and method statements against OSHAD and ALDAR requirements.
• Deliver health, safety and environmental training to employees including but not limited to; induction, safe working practices, etc.
• Ensure compliance with Company and Project KPI requirements.
• Plan daily site visits across project sites to ensure health, safety and environmental measures are in place before work begins.
• Carry out joint HSE inspections with contractor HSE personnel and Management Representatives to identify potential hazards and risks.
• Record the findings of HSE inspections and suggest corrective actions.
• Ensure the corrective actions are implemented at the site and the observations are closeout out on time.
• Raise Non-Conformance Reports and Suspension of Work Instructions if necessary.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel, to promote and enforce a strong safety culture.
• Ensure the adequacy and efficiency of emergency response plans by carrying out mock drills as per the project schedule and performance standards.
• Lead the Incident Investigation process and provide necessary technical guidance to the Contractor for identifying root cause and preventive measures.
