Job description
Monitor the implementation of health, safety and environmental arrangements at the project site level, following OSHAD and ALDAR requirements.
Keep up to date with the latest legal and health and safety standards.
Communicate and advise the Contractors on the implementation of a safe system of work.
Lead HSE Meetings, Campaigns, Surveillances, Training, etc.
Carryout internal audit on WME and Contractor\'s HSE management system
Review the Contractor\'s health, safety and environmental plans, procedures, risk assessments and method statements against OSHAD and ALDAR requirements.
Deliver health, safety and environmental training to employees including but not limited to; induction, safe working practices, etc.
Ensure compliance with Company and Project KPI requirements.
Plan daily site visits across project sites to ensure health, safety and environmental measures are in place before work begins.
Carry out joint HSE inspections with contractor HSE personnel and Management Representatives to identify potential hazards and risks.
Record the findings of HSE inspections and suggest corrective actions.
Ensure the corrective actions are implemented at the site and the observations are closeout out on time.
Raise Non-Conformance Reports and Suspension of Work Instructions if necessary.
Collaborate with project stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel, to promote and enforce a strong safety culture.
Ensure the adequacy and efficiency of emergency response plans by carrying out mock drills as per the project schedule and performance standards.
Lead the Incident Investigation process and provide necessary technical guidance to the Contractor for identifying root cause and preventive measures.
