Position Details
Job Title: Health and Safety Admin
Reporting to: HSE Officer / Campus Director
Discipline: Campus Academic
Purpose of the Post: Carry out the day-to-day operations of HSE and contribute to the application of
effective Health, Safety and Environmental management by providing technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the HSE, may include but are not limited to the following:
1. Provide support to school management & facilities to all Health and Safety matter & need.
2. Ensure that all service providers on site are comply with all health and safety requirements.
3. Prepare and coordinate with concerned authorities to conduct any health and safety training for staff
(firefighting, first aid, induction, .... Etc.).
4. Liaising with School Management & Facilities Supervisor to ensure effective implementation of the
policy and all related procedures.
5. Providing statistics for their area to meet ENS performance monitoring and reporting requirements and
raised to HSE officer.
6. Monitoring accident/near miss reporting and trends and providing advice on preventative measures.
7. Complete the monthly HSE inspections with HSE officer & maintenance HSE team as per the inspection
plan.
8. Be sure that all school activity is covered in the school Risk Assessments, and all control measure are in
place.
9. Ensure that all the need is on site and published, ex (safety sign, ERP Team data, PPE).
10. Co-operate with any HSE arrangements imposed by the school management, staff, facility, maintenance
and raise any concerns to HSE Committee and HSE officer.
11. Liaising with Facilities Management to ensure all proposed Health, Safety and environmental
requirements are met when planning and executing construction / refurbishment activities / projects and
other work on site.
12. Participates in designated Trainings and employee development activities, whilst applying the same on
the job.
13. Shows Flexibility and assists in other tasks related to his responsibilities when necessary.
Job Specification
Experience: A minimum of two years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities
specified.
Education / Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in HSE or any strongly related subject or others.
OSHAD / IOSH / NEBOSH IGC certification or any other training course related to HSE field.
Technical Competencies:
? Fluent in English and Arabic
? Ability to communicate effectively
? Strong Personality
? Ability to handle pressure and temper control
? Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written directions and safety procedures.
? Ability to work cooperatively with others.
? Willingness to learn new tasks and ask questions when directions are not understood
? Knowledge of First Aid and non-violent restraint techniques
? Strong writing and oral communication skills.
? Good decision making and problem-solving skills
