Job Summary

The HSC Engineer is responsible for implementing and monitoring Health, Safety, and Compliance procedures at construction sites. The role ensures all site activities follow safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities1. Health & Safety Monitoring

Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project HSE plans. Identify unsafe conditions and take corrective actions immediately. Ensure all workers follow proper PPE usage and safety protocols.

2. Safety Documentation & Reporting

Prepare daily/weekly safety reports, incident reports, and risk assessments. Maintain records of toolbox talks, safety briefings, and accident logs. Assist in developing HSE plans and method statements.

3. Training & Awareness

Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions for site staff and labor. Support induction training for new employees on site safety standards.

4. Compliance & Site Control

Ensure site activities comply with Bahrain safety regulations and company guidelines. Monitor lifting operations, scaffolding work, hot work, confined spaces, and high-risk activities. Verify permits-to-work are issued and followed properly.

5. Emergency Preparedness

Assist in developing emergency response plans. Conduct drills and ensure firefighting equipment is available and maintained.

6. Coordination & Support

Coordinate with Project Engineers, Supervisors, and sub-contractors on safety-related matters. Participate in site meetings and provide inputs for improving safety performance.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures. Good communication and reporting skills. Ability to identify hazards and recommend preventive measures. Experience handling site safety inspections and audits.

Pay: Up to BD600.000 per month
