Type of Contract: 2 years "Renewable"


  • The candidate will develop and create job descriptions, compensation packages, and KPIs with the CEO.
  • The candidate will develop, update, and circulate a set of ethical standards to govern work done in the association.
  • The candidate will routinely develop and update job designs for existing and new activities at the company.
  • The successful Candidate is expected to be the staff representative with the management, and as such, represent staff interests and concerns as well as develop solutions to the CEO. This also means the candidate will represent company's stated views, policies, and ethical standards.
  • Work with company's international staff and ensure their HR, organizational, and administrative needs are met.
  • When instructed by the CEO, attend meetings with relevant ministries and other agencies to represent the company.
  • The Candidate will work with the CEO and the staff. There will be no interaction with children.
Education, Knowledge and Experience
  • Academic University graduate, degree in Human Resource Management Business, Arts or Science.
  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Candidate to illustrate strength in communication, especially in Arabic.
  • Experience in the administration of personnel issues with examples of conflict resolution.
  • The candidate should demonstrate an attitude of supporting the growth of personnel in the organization – this is not a purely administrative role.
  • Strong and updated knowledge of Omani labor laws.
  • Experience of working with medium-sized organizations of 20-40 people.
  • Experience in Administration, facilities management, and resourcefulness are advantages.
Example of Likely KPI’s
  • Regular completion of HR related documentation and processes.
  • Compliance with legal standards set out for the association.
  • Regular and updated fair and transparent documented KPIs’ for the staff.
  • Development programs for staff, subject to CEO approval.
  • Periodic content contribution on HR policies, success stories of staff, and commentary on ethical standards presented to CEO for inclusion in Marketing material.
Growth Potential
  • The candidate can grow to become one of the official spokespeople of the association and represent the company in related functions.
  • The candidate can, based on competency and performance, join the senior team in developing strategies for the association, and manage their execution.
