About the role We are looking for strong School HR Officer to lead on and manage all aspects of Human Resources at Our Own high School, Al Warqa\xe2\x80\x99a, Dubai, on an immediate basis. The ideal candidate will be able to manage and oversee the implementation and compliance with GEMS Human Resources policies, procedures, and systems. Additionally, they should be in a position to provide expertise, support, and advice on the various Human Resources functions, including but not limited to, Recruitment, Staffing, Performance Management, Employment Law and Employee Relations & Engagement. The ideal candidate will meet the following:
University Degree in HR or a related filed
At minimum of 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working in a HR Generalist capacity or with a specialism in Performance Management, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits or HR systems and metrics
Immediate availability
Fluent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
Experience working in a multi-cultural environment is key
Preference will be given to those with UAE School HR experience
Demonstrable experience in managing the range of HR functions
Knowledge of general HR office procedures, policies and methods
Confidence to maneuver and interpret UAE Labour Laws
Strong ICT skills ideally with experience of ERP/HRMS
