Job Title: Human Resources Officer Department: Human Resources (Management)Location: Ajman - United Arab Emirates Direct Manager: General Manager/Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources functions within the accounting and tax agency. This includes recruitment and selection of employees, employee affairs management, development and implementation of HR policies, performance management, training and development, employee relations, and compliance with UAE labor laws. The Human Resources Officer will work closely with management to ensure a positive and productive work environment that supports the company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Selection: Identifying recruitment needs in collaboration with department heads.

Preparing and updating job descriptions.

Publishing job advertisements on appropriate platforms.

Screening CVs and conducting initial interviews.

Coordinating interviews with department managers.

Conducting reference and background checks for candidates.

Preparing and presenting job offers.

Managing the onboarding process for new employees to ensure their smooth integration into the company.

Employee Affairs Management: Creating and maintaining accurate and confidential employee files.

Managing employment contracts, their renewal, and amendments.

Processing payroll in coordination with the accounting department (if necessary).

Managing leave (annual, sick, emergency) and ensuring its correct recording.

Handling visa and work permit procedures for employees.

Following up on employee health insurance.

Managing end-of-service procedures for employees.

HR Policies and Procedures:Developing, updating, and implementing HR policies and procedures in line with UAE labor law and best practices.

Ensuring employees understand and adhere to company policies.

Advising management and employees on HR matters.

Performance Management:Developing and implementing an effective performance management system.

Assisting managers in setting goals and evaluating employee performance.

Identifying training needs based on performance evaluations.

Training and Development:Identifying training and development needs for employees at all levels.

Coordinating and organizing internal and external training programs.

Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs.

Employee Relations:Promoting a positive and motivating work environment.

Handling employee complaints and grievances fairly and promptly.

Providing support and advice to employees on work-related issues.

Organizing events and activities to boost employee morale.

Legal Compliance:Ensuring all HR practices comply with UAE labor law and other relevant regulations in the United Arab Emirates.

Keeping abreast of changes in labor laws and advising management on their impact.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Practical experience of no less than [Insert number of years, e.g., 3-5 years] in a similar HR role, preferably in the United Arab Emirates.

Strong knowledge of UAE labor law and HR-related regulations.

Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in both Arabic and English.

Ability to build good relationships with employees at all levels.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally.

Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HRMS systems, if any.

Professional HR certifications (such as SHRM, CIPD) are preferred.
