to manage human resource functions for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will support both site and head office operations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, managing recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, and safety compliance. Experience in the construction industry or project-based HR is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Manage end-to-end recruitment for site and office roles (e.g., engineers, laborers, foremen).
Coordinate with project managers for manpower planning and mobilization.
Conduct onboarding and induction sessions for new hires.
Ensure proper documentation (contracts, ID, licenses, etc.) is collected and maintained.
2. HR Administration
Maintain accurate employee records (physical and digital).
Prepare employment contracts, warning letters, memos, etc.
Handle timekeeping and attendance records, especially for daily wage and contract workers.
Coordinate with payroll for monthly salary processing.
3. Employee Relations
Serve as a point of contact for employee grievances and resolve conflicts as per company policy.
Promote a healthy, safe, and productive work environment on-site.
Monitor worker welfare, housing, and basic needs, especially on remote project sites.
4. Compliance & Policy
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, health and safety standards, and company policies.
Assist with labor inspections, audits, and reporting.
Keep up to date with construction labor laws and changes affecting the workforce.
5. Training & Development
Identify training needs and coordinate training for workers (e.g., safety, skill development).
Maintain records of training attendance and certification.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 2-4 years of HR experience, preferably in construction, engineering, or industrial sectors.
Strong understanding of labor laws, construction site operations, and blue-collar workforce management.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Familiarity with HR software and timekeeping systems is a plus.
