Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
  • Enhance current policies related to employees by providing constructive feedback on policies and procedures related to operations and recruitment; ensure the provision of quality and timely HR services to the employees and Business Units (BUs).
  • Assist Head of the section in Emiratization projects to ensure that the Company remains competitive and attractive to talented UAE Nationals.
  • Work closely with business units to develop an annual recruitment plan and initiatives aligned to the overall National development strategy and corporate objective.
  • Manage all recruitment and selection activities to identify and recruit the best National talent for the Company in line with approved recruitment plans.
  • Assess and select Recruitment Agencies (local and international), manage agency performance, and ensure the good quality of service from agencies.
  • Appointment, coordinating third parties such as advertising agencies and consultancies as part of international) and negotiate terms and conditions as well as fees for recruitment and labour supply and search for new labour markets in accordance with business needs.
  • Implement cost effective recruitment plans that maximize efficiency and provide consultation throughout the recruitment selection process to ensure cost effective manpower sourcing and maximize fit and retention.
  • Manage the complete recruitment cycle, from specification of requirements the process.
  • Responsible for designing, managing and administering the assessment centres and processes as and when required to ensure right selection of candidate based on skill requirement that fits the position
  • Develop and post clear job advertisements in line with job description and prepare other recruitment material efficiently and in line company policy.
  • Review employees\xe2\x80\x99 activities related to processing of leaves, change of status, termination and other financial and non-financial entitlement as per policy and HR DOA and report to Section Head.
  • Ensure employee grievances are handled smoothly and disciplinary cases are closed on timely manner.
  • Ensure that all formalities for final employment are carried out properly such as completeness of the candidate\xe2\x80\x99s file, issuance of access controls and ID cards, notifications of concerned parties, inputting data in the system and all other procedures related to residence to ensure the smooth flow of activities for all the employees.
  • Ensure timely and effective management and control access to employee files and ensure updated information of employees on the HR System on time.
  • Ensure the smooth handling and execution of employee relations processes through effective customer service and various measures, as appropriate to the situation and the concern resolution procedure.
  • Support in Performance Management process and system, plan and execute Improvement plans for the relevant employees as per the established HR policies and procedures manual including the preparation of the plans with the relevant department, liaison with Legal and relevant authorities if required and documentation.
  • Supervise the initiation of End of Service process and ensure all formalities are carried out as per the established HR policies and procedures manual including exit feedback interviews, cancellation of residency permits, repatriation tickets; review the EOSB and advice if any changes to ensure compliance with the labour laws and company policies.
  • Build and nurture good relationship with internal & external stakeholders and maintain effective working communication with the employees through various channels.
  • Motivate and develop subordinates to foster a cross-functional team approach both to meet the Department\xe2\x80\x99s objectives (for efficiency and effectiveness) and their own for raised competencies to meet more challenging requirements.
  • Provide guidance and motivate and conduct performance review of subordinates to enhance performance and produce quality work; ensure that subordinates are continuously developed for higher levels.
  • Supervise the employee files management and the filing system in order to ensure completion of the files according to the established HR processes and policy.

Education & experience:
  • Graduate or Post Graduate Degree, preferably in the field of Human Resources.
  • Professional qualification such as CIPD would be an advantage.
  • Min. 7 years of experience with at least 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Talent Acquisition and HR Operations supporting a large, complex organizations.
  • Appropriate familiarity with UAE Labor Law, regulatory requirements, and employee relations practices.
