Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating with department heads to schedule interviews.
Maintain a pool of qualified candidates for various hotel departments (e.g., Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, Front Desk).
Onboard new hires and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and inquiries.
Support in resolving conflicts and managing employee grievances, ensuring a positive work environment.
Organize employee events and initiatives to boost morale and engagement.
Training & Development:
Coordinate training sessions for new and existing employees.
Assist in the development and implementation of employee development programs.
Maintain training records and ensure compliance with required certifications.
Performance Management:
Help coordinate the performance appraisal process.
Monitor staff performance, assisting managers in addressing performance issues and providing support where needed.
Administrative Support:
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and hotel policies.
Assist in the preparation of payroll and attendance records.
Compliance & Policies:
Ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures, particularly in relation to employee relations and HR practices.
Stay up-to-date on labor law changes and ensure the hotel remains compliant with all applicable regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Previous experience in HR or hospitality management is a plus.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws.
