\xe2\x80\x8bCharterhouse is working with a client in the Logistics sector to assist in their hiring process for a HR and Payroll Officer. This position will see you supporting the Middle East business from their Dubai office. Our client is seeking candidates who are qualified in HR with a minimum of 3-5 years of Generalist HR experience.

About the Role
As the HR and Payroll Officer, you will have the opportunity to work in a diverse role taking on a range of responsibilities within the Human Resources function. Your main tasks will include managing the operations, handling the full employee lifecycle and assisting the payroll team with payroll processing for the GCC. In addition, your role will be responsible for the Performance Review Cycle of employees.

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will be the main point of contact for employees across Middle East offices. You will also work collaboratively with stake holders and colleagues therefore you must be able to demonstrate an excellent team work approach.

About You
To be considered for this role, you must have at least 3-5 years\' experience in a similar role with excellent knowledge of the UAE labour law, social security compliance and payroll processing with a minimum of 2 years\' work experience in the Middle East. Experience in HR preferably within Oil & Gas, Engineering, Shipping or a similar sector will be beneficial for this role.

The candidate must have a professional and personable approach with attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills. Handling diverse and confidential situations with confidence whilst multi-tasking under demanding deadline is key to succeed in this role.
