Key Responsibilities

Operational Responsibilities

Supervise daily housekeeping operations and allocate work assignments to Room Attendants and Public Area Attendants Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met Ensure all rooms are cleaned according to hotel SOPs and brand standards Coordinate with Front Office regarding room status and priorities Handle guest requests, complaints, and special requirements promptly and professionally Monitor cleaning chemicals usage and safety procedures Support deep cleaning schedules and spring-cleaning programs Ensure proper upkeep of cleaning equipment and report maintenance issues

Staff Supervision & Training

Lead, motivate, and support the housekeeping team Conduct on-the-job training for new and existing staff Monitor staff grooming, punctuality, and discipline Conduct daily briefings and communicate departmental updates Assist in preparing duty rosters and attendance tracking Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback

Administrative Responsibilities

Maintain inventory and stock levels of linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies Record room inspection reports and cleaning progress Assist in preparing maintenance requests and follow-ups Ensure adherence to hotel policies, SOPs, and safety regulations Support departmental cost control initiatives

Health, Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards Ensure safe handling and storage of chemicals Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions immediately Support implementation of sustainability and environmental programs

Qualifications & Skills Required

Prior experience in housekeeping; supervisory experience preferred Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and hotel housekeeping operations Strong leadership and team management skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and quality-focused approach Ability to handle pressure and multitask Basic computer knowledge
Monthly Salary and Benefits:

AED 2000 - AED 2400 (all-inclusive)
