Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Supervision and Staff Management:

Assigning tasks, scheduling staff, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.

Ensuring Cleanliness and Standards:

Inspecting guest rooms, public areas, and other spaces to ensure they meet established cleanliness standards.

Training and Development:

Training new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies.

Inventory Management:

Monitoring and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens.

Guest Relations:

Addressing guest requests, complaints, and feedback related to housekeeping services.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials and infection control procedures.

Coordination with other departments:

Collaborating with maintenance, front desk, and other departments to address issues and ensure smooth operations.

Record Keeping:

Maintaining records of cleaning tasks, staff performance, and inventory levels.

Job Requirements:

Experience:

Proven experience in housekeeping, typically 2+ years, with supervisory experience preferred.

Skills:

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, ability to train and motivate staff, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge:

Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning products, safety regulations, and inventory management.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent, some positions may prefer a degree or certification in hospitality or related field.

Physical Ability:

Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weight, and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning. Must be
