Position Overview
The Housekeeping Supervisor role in Dubai ensures the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest comfort across rooms, corridors, and service areas. This position leads room attendants, coordinates daily operations, and maintains close collaboration with Front Office and Engineering to deliver a consistently excellent guest experience in line with Accor standards.

Role Summary
The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily housekeeping activities, conducts inspections, manages team performance, and ensures VIP attention, maintenance follow-ups, and accurate reporting to maintain operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily briefings and grooming inspections for Room Attendants
  • Inspect guest rooms, corridors, pantries, and service areas daily to ensure cleanliness standards
  • Deliver on-the-job training and coaching to Room Attendants
  • Maintain effective employee relations and teamwork
  • Monitor and maintain housekeeping equipment and machines
  • Prepare job orders and coordinate maintenance follow-ups with Engineering
  • Ensure special attention and readiness of VIP rooms
  • Attend daily briefings with Executive and Assistant Executive Housekeepers
  • Report irregularities, security concerns, and incidents promptly
  • Manage proper shift handover and take-over
  • Record and report Lost and Found items accurately
  • Prepare discrepancy reports and coordinate with Front Office
  • Conduct fumigation and follow up on Do Not Disturb rooms
  • Prepare and manage room linen inventory
  • Report guest-caused damages and track maintenance completion
  • Water and change flowers as per schedule and ensure presentation quality
  • Perform detailed inspections of occupied, vacant, and check-out rooms
  • Ensure proper placement and handling of maid trolleys in corridors
  • Enforce key control and room entry procedures
  • Oversee PA attendants and handle guest service matters within assigned areas
  • Maintain product knowledge of hotel facilities and daily activities
  • Demonstrate professionalism, grooming standards, and interdepartmental cooperation
Ideal Profile
  • University degree in any field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within a four or five-star hotel
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety standards
  • Ability to manage teams, prioritize tasks, and work under pressure
