Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness hotel-level standards are met consistently.
Train new employees on cleaning procedures and proper use of equipment. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff.
Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our quality standards.
Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, placing orders as necessary to ensure there are no shortages.
Develop and manage staff schedules to optimize coverage and efficiency.
Address any guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Identify and report any maintenance issues to the maintenance team promptly.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, specifically in a hotel setting.
Strong organizational and leadership skills; excellent communication abilities.
Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemical safety.
Fluent in English or local language.
