Housekeeping Staff - Clinic/Hospital Experience
Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant
Reports To: Clinic Manager / Supervisor
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Staff is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness throughout the clinic. Previous experience in a hospital or clinic is essential to understand the critical nature of infection control in a medical environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning & Sanitization: Perform daily cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of all areas, including waiting areas, consultation rooms, treatment rooms, and restrooms.
• Infection Control: Use approved disinfectants to clean all high-touch surfaces (door handles, chairs, reception counters) multiple times a day.
• Waste Management: Segregate and dispose of medical and general waste according to clinic policy and UAE health regulations.
• Linen Management: Collect used linens and replace them with clean ones. Manage the laundering process as per protocol.
• Stock Replenishment: Ensure restrooms and common areas are stocked with necessary supplies like soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Reporting: Report any maintenance issues (e.g., leaks, broken furniture) or shortages of cleaning supplies to the supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Prior experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hospital, clinic, or medical center.
• Knowledge of and commitment to infection control and sterilization procedures.
• Ability to understand and use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Honesty, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
• Basic understanding of English or Arabic for following instructions is preferred.
