The Housekeeping Manager manages and oversees the housekeeping operations in this ultra-luxury Resort, ensuring that the guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are kept clean and well-maintained, and managing the cleaning supplies and equipment inventory. The Housekeeping Manager is also responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction throughout the Resort. Role Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas of the Resort are clean, well-maintained, and up to the standards of the Resort
- Hire, train, and supervise housekeeping colleagues, including team leaders, housekeepers, Gardeners, Life guards, and public area attendants
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stocked
- Work closely with other departments, such as front office and engineering, to ensure seamless communication and cooperation
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and guest satisfaction
- Manage and monitor the departmental budget and expenses
- Respond promptly to guest complaints and concerns related to housekeeping
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers for housekeeping-related products and services
- Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and Resort policies
- Bachelor\'s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in housekeeping management in a luxury hotel or Resort environment
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and supplies
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Umm al-Quwain City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Housekeeping Manager: 5 years (Preferred)
