The Housekeeping Manager manages and oversees the housekeeping operations in this ultra-luxury Resort, ensuring that the guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are kept clean and well-maintained, and managing the cleaning supplies and equipment inventory. The Housekeeping Manager is also responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction throughout the Resort. Role Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas of the Resort are clean, well-maintained, and up to the standards of the Resort
Hire, train, and supervise housekeeping colleagues, including team leaders, housekeepers, Gardeners, Life guards, and public area attendants
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stocked
Work closely with other departments, such as front office and engineering, to ensure seamless communication and cooperation
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and guest satisfaction
Manage and monitor the departmental budget and expenses
Respond promptly to guest complaints and concerns related to housekeeping
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers for housekeeping-related products and services
Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and Resort policies
Key Skills and Requirements:
Bachelor\'s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in housekeeping management in a luxury hotel or Resort environment
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and supplies
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
