to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will lead a team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise housekeeping staff and delegate daily tasks effectively
Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met
Train, schedule, and evaluate staff performance
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies and procedures
Handle guest complaints or requests professionally and promptly
Develop and implement cleaning checklists and protocols
Collaborate with maintenance and front office teams for smooth operations
Prepare reports on department performance and budget adherence
Monitor staff productivity and make improvements where necessary
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or management is a plus
3+ years of housekeeping experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Working knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and health/safety standards
Proficient with basic computer systems (e.g., scheduling software, email)
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
