Housekeeping

Purpose of Position:

To maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the cafe, they should ensure a clean and welcoming environment for customers and staff. The Housekeeper ensures all areas are spotless and presentable at all times, contributing to a positive customer experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the cafe, including dining areas, restrooms, and common spaces. Clean and restock restrooms regularly, ensuring they are hygienic and well-maintained. Assist with cleaning tables, chairs, and other dining areas to ensure a tidy environment. Handle cleaning supplies and equipment safely, following all safety guidelines. Ensure all areas are clean and presentable at all times, addressing any cleanliness issues promptly. Dispose of waste and recyclables properly, adhering to waste disposal regulations. Assist with opening and closing duties, ensuring the cafe is ready for service.

Attention to detail and thoroughness, ensuring high standards of cleanliness. Good time management skills, efficiently completing tasks within set timeframes. Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation. Reliability and trustworthiness, consistently performing duties to a high standard. Familiarity with waste disposal regulations, ensuring proper disposal of waste materials. Good physical stamina and endurance, capable of performing manual cleaning tasks.
