Job Description

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall presentation of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities in a hospitality or residential setting. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Maintenance:

Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing. Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas. Change bed linens, replace towels, and ensure all guest supplies are replenished. Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the supervisor.

Guest Services:

Provide a high level of service to guests, addressing any special requests or needs. Ensure guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation. Respond to guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.

Inventory Management:

Monitor and manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are well-stocked and in good working condition. Inform the supervisor when stock levels are low or additional supplies are needed.

Health and Safety:

Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of cleaning tasks and report any issues or completed work as required. Follow checklists and procedures to ensure all tasks are completed consistently.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality or cleaning training is a plus.

Experience:

Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment.

Work Environment:

This position may require working in various environments including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,300.00 per month
