Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Housekeeping Staff is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness in guest rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and public areas. The goal is to provide guests with a clean, safe, and welcoming environment, ensuring a pleasant stay.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and tidy guest rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas according to daily schedules and hotel standards. Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and toiletries. Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and clean windows. Empty trash bins and properly dispose of waste. Restock cleaning supplies and room amenities as needed. Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost items immediately to the supervisor. Follow all safety, hygiene, and security procedures. Handle guest requests politely and professionally. Ensure equipment and cleaning tools are used and stored properly. Assist with laundry and deep cleaning tasks when required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous housekeeping experience preferred (not mandatory). Good physical stamina and ability to work on your feet for long hours. Attention to detail and cleanliness. Basic communication skills in English. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Working Conditions:

Full-time position. Rotational shifts (morning/evening). May require overtime during busy seasons. Uniform and cleaning equipment provided.

Performance Expectations:

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all assigned areas. Follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks on time. Provide excellent service to guests at all times. Report issues promptly to avoid delays or complaints.
