To maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas in accordance with hotel standards, ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and assigned public areas
Make beds, change linen, and replace towels as per standards
Replenish guest room amenities and supplies
Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and furniture
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost & found items immediately
Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
Ensure high standards of hygiene and safety at all times
Respond politely to guest requests and assist when required
Follow hotel policies, procedures, and grooming standards
Support team members and perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
Health, Safety & Hygiene
Follow all hygiene and sanitation guidelines
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) when required
Comply with health and safety regulations
Qualifications & Skills
Basic knowledge of housekeeping procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good time management and attention to detail
Physically fit to perform housekeeping duties
Basic English communication skills preferred
Experience
Previous hotel housekeeping experience is an advantage
Freshers may be considered based on suitability
Working Conditions
Shift duty, including weekends and public holidays
Standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods
