Your Day to Day Housekeeping is what gives hotels the \xe2\x80\x98wow\xe2\x80\x99 factor. It\xe2\x80\x99s the moment that guests walk into the hotel and are impressed, then enter their bedrooms and think \xe2\x80\x98wow, this looks wonderful\xe2\x80\x99. To deliver a great guest experience \xe2\x80\x93 a Room Attendant will clean and service guest rooms so everything is spotless and prepared for guests. Some of your main role responsibilities are:

• Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, , refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, cups, glasses, silverware removing trash/rubbish, cleaning windows etc.
• Wear safety protection equipment as provided in line with department regulations and any local legislative requirements
• Handle and store chemicals in line with hotel regulations and any local legislative requirements
• Greet and acknowledge guests
• Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
• Anticipate guests\xe2\x80\x99 needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.

Ideally, you\'ll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we\'re looking for:

• Experience in a 5-star luxury hotel company is essential.
• 1 year previous experience in a similar position or a related field
• Knowledge of Housekeeping operations.
• Good command of English language, both oral and written.
• Basic reading, writing, and math abilities are used often when reading room assignments, completing checklists, replacing room linens and amenities
• Ability to carry or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and to push/pull medium to large weights/objects, frequently standing up and moving around the facility, frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility, frequently bending, stooping, and kneeling
• Have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays
