Job Description

The Housekeeping Staff is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment within the clinic premises. This role ensures that all areas, including consultation rooms, waiting areas, treatment rooms, washrooms, and common spaces, are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, in line with infection control protocols and healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of all clinic areas, including floors, furniture, doors, windows, and restrooms. Follow infection control guidelines in cleaning treatment rooms, equipment surfaces, and high-touch areas. Handle medical waste and general waste as per approved segregation procedures (e.g., yellow bags for medical waste, black bags for general waste). Replenish consumables such as hand sanitizers, paper towels, tissues, and soap dispensers. Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the Facility Supervisor. Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning materials and equipment. Assist during clinic deep-cleaning schedules and fumigation as required. Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct while working in patient care areas. Adhere to health, safety, and infection prevention protocols at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality environment. Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and handle equipment. Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and manage time efficiently. Good Interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:

Work involves physical activity, cleaning, lifting, and standing for extended periods. Required to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per clinic schedule. Exposure to cleaning agents, disinfectants, and medical waste (with protective gear provided).
