Clean and disinfect patient rooms, treatment rooms, laboratories, offices, hallways, bathrooms, and public areas regularly.
Follow specific cleaning protocols to ensure infection control and patient safety.
Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Ensure proper disposal of waste, including medical and hazardous waste, according to the centre's guidelines.
Replenish supplies such as soap, sanitizers, tissues, and cleaning materials as needed.
Support in maintaining laundry operations (such as cleaning towels, uniforms, bed linens if applicable).
Report any maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, plumbing problems) to the relevant department immediately.
Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules assigned by supervisors.
Adhere to all workplace health and safety and infection control policies.
Assist during special cleaning projects (e.g., deep cleaning after procedures or special disinfection protocols during outbreaks).
