HOUSE KEEPING Supervisor: Ideal candidate should be a graduate with minimum 3 years of relevant experience either from a reputed hospital or from a FIVE STAR HOTEL. Duties: Supervise all housekeeping staff. Making generalizations, evaluations, or decisions based on sensory or judgmental criteria. Accepting responsibility for the direction, control, or planning of all Housekeeping tasks/functions, cleaning, etc. Including disciplinary action if/when required. Do daily quality assurance tours of the building appropriately identifies problems and arranges for correction. Keep records of all problems, the date of follow up and the date of correction, informing the Mother Superior of any problem. Train all new housekeeping personnel and provide ongoing evaluation of skills, thoroughness, etc and re-instruction as needed to insure proper techniques, procedures and care of equipment. Assume responsibility for housekeeping purchases and indirectly responsible for purchases for other departments of the Home. Strive for optimal use of supplies, materials, keeping in mind cost and budget limitations. Answer pages and takes accurate messages and acts accordingly. Promptly investigate and document employee injuries/illnesses. Oversee the distribution of all deliveries. Make certain with the purchasing department that deliveries are correct and authorized. See to it that appropriate person receives the order and verify its accuracy. Perform all duties assigned in the prescribed amount of time. Use good observation and problem solving techniques.
