About the role
We're looking for a warm, guest?centric retail professional to deliver an exceptional shopping experience in our hotel gift shop. You'll help guests find the perfect souvenirs and travel essentials, process sales accurately, and keep the store beautifully presented.
What you'll do
Welcome every guest; understand needs and make helpful recommendations. Promote and cross?sell typical hotel gift shop items (snacks & beverages, souvenirs, travel essentials, local crafts, personal?care items, chargers/adaptors, toys, etc.). Process payments (cash/card/mobile/room charge) and handle refunds/exchanges per policy. Maintain visual standards, pricing accuracy, stock rotation (FIFO) and expiry checks for packaged goods. Replenish shelves, receive deliveries, and support daily/weekly cycle counts. Complete opening/closing, cash?up, and a clean, safe shop environment.
What you'll bring
1-2 years' experience in retail or hotel boutique. Confident communicator; guest?service mindset; basic math & POS skills. Comfortable with rotating shifts, standing for long periods, and handling light boxes. Languages required: Fluent English. High school diploma (or equivalent).
Success looks like
Meeting sales targets, great guest feedback, accurate cash?ups, no stock variances.

Base salary + commission
