Job Requirement:

Sharing the love for food between generations is at the core of our founding story. From a nine-stool rootbeer stand to nine-course meals, we serve handcrafted, passed-down, and reimagined flavors, offering a sense of comfort and wellbeing.

The impact you\xe2\x80\x99ll make:

As a Host/Hostess, you will be the face of our restaurant, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, taking reservations, and coordinating with the servers and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth dining experience. Your friendly and professional demeanor will leave a lasting impression on our guests, making them feel valued and eager to return.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

• Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude upon their arrival.
• Manage the reservation system and ensure accurate seating arrangements.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to manage table turnover and maintain efficient service.
• Maintain a neat and organized host/hostess station and dining area.
• Respond to guest inquiries and provide accurate information about menu items, special promotions, and restaurant policies.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism, seeking appropriate solutions.
• Assist in maintaining overall cleanliness and appearance of the restaurant.

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints with tact and professionalism.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Positive attitude and a team-player mentality.
• Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role is preferred.

This role may require standing for extended periods and the ability to move and lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Prior to employment, we\xe2\x80\x99ll ask you to complete safety training and certification.
