Job Summary: Looking for a Host/Hostess in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

• Warmly welcome guests as they arrive and escort them to their designated tables
• Handle waiting lists and reservations to ensure an organized and timely seating process
• Communicate estimated wait times to guests as necessary
• Handle guests\' inquiries, special requests, as well as concerns, maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor
• Collaborate with waitstaff and kitchen team to accommodate guest preferences and any special requirements
• Maintain a visually appealing and clean reception area, ensuring it is well-stocked with menus, promotional materials, and other necessary items
• Work with servers to ensure a smooth transition between seatings, cleaning and resetting tables promptly
• Effectively communicate with restaurant staff to manage guest flow, reservations, as well as any changes to table availability
• Notify guests of any delays and keep them informed about the status of their table
• Take and manage reservations over the phone
• Maintain an accurate reservation book and update it regularly
• Follow set procedures for tracking and reporting cash transactions
• Conduct any other related tasks as may be required

Job Qualifications and Experience

• The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills required
• Should be able to remain calm and collected under pressure
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Must have a positive and approachable demeanor
