Job Purpose:

To provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking food and beverage orders accurately, delivering them efficiently, and ensuring guests enjoy a traditional Arabic/Lebanese dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service:

Greet guests in a warm and friendly Arabic hospitality manner. Escort guests to their tables and present menus. Provide detailed information about the Lebanese/Arabic dishes, ingredients, and preparation style. Make menu recommendations, including Arabic specialties and daily offers. Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar.

Order Delivery:

Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring proper presentation. Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course. Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests or complaints.

Cultural Knowledge:

Explain the tradition behind Arabic items like

mezze

,

manakish

,

shisha (if served)

, and

Arabic coffee

. Demonstrate understanding of Arabic customs like serving order, Arabic greeting etiquette, etc.

Cleanliness and Setup:

Set up tables with proper linens, utensils, glassware, and decorations in traditional Arabic style if applicable. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of service areas, tables, and equipment.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with kitchen staff and other waiters to ensure smooth service. Help with side duties such as polishing cutlery, folding napkins, and refilling condiments.

Sales and Upselling:

Promote restaurant specials, traditional Arabic desserts, and premium drinks. Upsell items to increase average guest spending.
