Hostess

to be the first and last impression of Manos--someone who can greet guests warmly, manage seating flow, and handle transactions with a smile.

Responsibilities

Host Duties:

Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently. Guide guests to their tables and provide menus. Communicate estimated wait times clearly and courteously. Coordinate table turnover to ensure smooth service flow. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the entrance, host stand, and waiting areas.

Cashier Duties:

Process dine-in and takeaway orders accurately using the POS system. Handle cash, card, and digital transactions responsibly and securely. Provide guests with accurate change and receipts. Package takeaway orders neatly and correctly. Assist with end-of-day cash outs and basic reconciliation. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cashier station.

General:

Answer phone calls professionally, assist with inquiries, and take reservations when needed. Support the front-of-house team during busy periods (e.g., clearing and setting tables). Uphold a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere at all times. Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently. Guide guests to their tables and provide menus. Communicate estimated wait times clearly and courteously. Coordinate table turnover to ensure smooth service flow. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the entrance, host stand, and waiting areas.

Qualifications

Previous hosting, cashier, or customer service experience preferred. Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor. Basic math skills and comfort handling transactions. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus (training provided if needed). Professional appearance and a positive attitude. Available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Fluency in English. Immediately available.
