Job Description

  • To monitor the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables, estimating wait times for guests, monitoring the guest waiting list, and ensuring that the needs of the guests are met while they are waiting.
  • Responsible for answering the telephone, booking reservations and moving tables together to accommodate large parties.
  • To take orders and delivers food and beverages. Ensures the quality of the food and overall guest experience is excellent. Responsible for all billing and payment processing.
  • To prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware.
  • To escort customers to their tables.
  • To present menus to customer and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request.
  • To inform customers of daily specials.
  • To take orders from customer for food or beverages.
  • To write customer food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff.
  • To explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.
  • To serve food and/or beverages to customers; prepare and serve specialty dishes at tables as required.
  • To check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
  • To remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters and take them to kitchen for cleaning.
  • To collect payments from customers.
  • To clean tables and/or counters after customers have finished dining.
  • To perform food preparation duties such as preparing salads, appetizers, and cold dishes, portioning desserts, and brewing coffee.
  • To stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens.
  • To garnish and decorate dishes in preparation for serving.
  • To fill salt, pepper, sugar, cream, condiment, and napkin containers.
  • To ensure that requirements related to Food Safety (ISO 22000:2018), Quality Management (9001:2015) and HSE (ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018) are implemented and maintained within the department.
  • Food safety/HSE Policy and objectives, as applicable to the department, to be followed and updated.
  • All documents/records related to Food Safety & HSE (where applicable) shall be kept up to date.
  • In addition to above, you to carry out responsibilities assigned by your immediate Superiors related to Kitchen operations in accordance with Company\xe2\x80\x99s Policies & Procedures and any applicable state and Qatar Laws.
Job Type: Full-time Salary: QAR3,000.00 - QAR3,500.00 per month COVID-19 considerations:
