We are seeking a friendly and professional Hostess to join our team at SO/ Uptown Dubai. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless dining experience.

Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently Monitor open dining sections for available tables Estimate and communicate wait times to guests Answer phone calls professionally and handle inquiries Escort guests to their tables and introduce them to their server Maintain an organized and up-to-date reservation system Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth operations Address guest concerns and requests promptly and courteously Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area Assist with special events and promotions as needed

Qualifications

Vocational certificate or diploma in Food and Beverage service preferred Fluency in English; Arabic language is a plus Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays * Basic computer skills for managing reservation systems
