Job Description
We are seeking a customer-focused
Hostess
to be the welcoming face of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth flow of the dining area.Key Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating charts using the restaurant's reservation system. Provide accurate waiting times and maintain clear communication with guests. Coordinate with servers and management to ensure efficient seating and service flow. Answer phone calls, take reservations, and handle guest inquiries. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess stand and entrance area. Assist in presenting menus and offering basic restaurant information. Support the team with special requests, events, and VIP guest arrangements.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality training is a plus). Previous experience as a restaurant hostess, receptionist, or customer service role preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and guest-handling skills. Well-groomed, professional appearance with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Basic knowledge of reservation systems is an advantage. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: QAR1,999.00 - QAR2,000.00 per month
