The Hostess is the first point of contact for guests and plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and pleasant dining experience. She is responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations and seating, and ensuring smooth coordination between guests and the service team. A friendly personality, professional appearance, and strong communication skills are essential.
Arabic-speaking candidates are preferred
for better interaction with local and regional guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests in a warm, professional, and friendly manner.
Manage table reservations, waitlists, and walk-in guests efficiently.
Coordinate seating arrangements to ensure smooth service flow.
Present menus and inform guests about ongoing offers or specials.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints courteously and effectively.
Liaise with the service and kitchen teams to maintain seamless operations.
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the reception and dining area.
Monitor guest satisfaction and ensure a positive dining experience.
Assist the team during busy hours and support other service functions as needed.
Adhere to company grooming standards, hygiene policies, and hospitality protocols.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or customer service training preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience
in a similar role within the
F&B or hospitality industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Arabic speaking preferred;
English fluency required.
Presentable, courteous, and customer-oriented.
Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
Familiarity with POS or reservation systems is an advantage.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
