Job Description
The Hostess is the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a welcoming and positive first impression. She greets guests warmly, manages reservations and seating, and ensures smooth communication between guests and the service team.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests politely and professionally upon arrival Manage reservations, waiting lists, and table allocations Escort guests to their tables and present menus when required Coordinate with waiters and management to ensure smooth service flow Maintain cleanliness and organization of the entrance and waiting area Handle guest inquiries and assist with basic information Ensure guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and attended to at all times
Skills & Qualities:
Friendly, professional, and well-groomed appearance Strong communication and interpersonal skills Calm and organized under pressure Customer-service oriented with a positive attitude Ability to multitask and work as part of a team
