Crown Hospital One Day Surgery is looking for an organized, customer-focused, and professional Hospital Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients. The ideal candidate will handle front-desk operations, manage appointment bookings, support patient registration, and ensure smooth communication between departments while maintaining high service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients, visitors, and families in a welcoming and professional manner.
Manage patient registration, verify documents, and update records in the EMR system.
Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments and follow-up visits.
Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and professionally.
Coordinate with nurses, doctors, and other departments to facilitate patient flow.
Handle billing inquiries and coordinate with the accounts department as required.
Maintain the reception area's cleanliness and organization.
Address patient queries and provide accurate information about hospital services.
Ensure confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and preparing reports.
Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma/Degree in administration or healthcare field preferred).
Minimum 1-2 years of receptionist or customer service experience (healthcare experience is an advantage).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in EMR systems(CORTEX SOFTWARE) and computer applications (MS Office).
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Professional appearance, positive attitude, and patient-friendly approach.
Fluent in English, HINDI and Arbic is an added advantage
